Details

A sequence of sheltered outdoor spaces and light-filled interiors shaped by horizontality and framed views. The single-family bungalow in Illertissen is conceived as a low, horizontal structure integrated into the surrounding landscape. The building mass is articulated through layered planes and courtyard spaces that establish a clear relationship between interior rooms and the garden.

Generous glazing allows daylight to define the spatial atmosphere, while deep roof planes modulate light and shade throughout the day. The composition emphasizes horizontality, reinforcing the calm presence of the house within its natural setting. Interior spaces unfold as a continuous sequence between living, dining, and outdoor areas. Material transitions remain restrained, allowing light, proportion, and landscape to shape the architectural experience.
