Details

A composed urban volume anchored by a solid base and articulated through rhythmic balconies. The student housing project at Dammstraße is defined by a clear facade rhythm and legible structural order. A brick base anchors the building within the street, while lighter upper levels establish a calibrated transition toward the residential volumes above.

The Damm 1 student housing architecture project in Neu-Ulm

Balconies and recessed façade elements introduce depth and modulation, allowing light and shadow to shape the architectural expression. Generous glazing establishes visual continuity between interior spaces and the surrounding city. The ground level acts as a permeable threshold between public space and interior life, activating the street edge through shared programs. The project balances urban presence with domestic scale.
